I am a old F,H,Hu card Direct TV person and Dishnetwork is frustrating me!
I have been all over forum to forum reading but still don't get anything but music and infochannels.

This is my first post about dishnetwork so be easy on me.

I Have four ex sub cards that are married to there receivers.

They are all rom3.

on 2 of them I opened the back door and I have the box keys.

But the 2 cards are "marked" because I opened the back door, what ever that means.

I have been working on a 7200 dish player.

I need set by step instructions on how to program this card.

What 3m to use and how? Is this an .ne file?

What are blockers and when and how to I program them and what to use.

I am currently using Xcel2.3 Is this good? Is there something easier

I have tried an AVR3 but no luck.

Any help would really be appreciated!! Very very much.

I finally got using my trusty Dss unlooper using the following steps if anyones intrested.

For Rom 3 only

SOFTWARE NEEDED
1. EchoLoader
2. WbinInfo v3.1
3. Rskblk3 (important as this is the blocker)

ATMEL FLASHING
1. Start EchoBoot in DOS to flash your Atmel 2313. You may do so in windows but this may take 2 or 3 times to work.

READING CARD
1. Start Echobox112233 in a Windows DOS box.
2. Hit R: Read card
3. Place card in the unlooper when prompted.
This will create an image of your CAM in the same directory as EchoBox112233. This is strictly for backup purposes.

Download BLOCKER
1. download rskblk3.ne3 and unzip

PROCESSING BIN
1. Start WbinInfo in Windows
2. Click on the … Button to show the Open File Dialog box
3. Select vrgn372.bin and hit F2 to Load Bin (this is located in the wbininfo folder)
4. Click on Tier Nee Creator 5
5. Select Apply Tier 3m
6. Click "ne3" Button to Import NE3 file to BIN.
7. Go to the directory where rskblk3.ne3 is located and select it.
8. Click OK.
9. Click config 0 and enter your information ird #, cam ID, zip, time zone, and boxkeys. You may leave decyrpt keys as 0000000000's as this will autoroll.
10. Click change bin
11. Save bin as whatever you wish in the same directory where Echobox112233 in located.

WRITING BIN
1. Start Echobox112233 in a Windows DOS box
2. Hit L: Load from Bin
3. Enter file name of the BIN you just created in WBinInfo
4. Insert card when prompted

That's it. Hope this helps. This will autoroll and get rid of the nag screen if you had that.
