Latest news:

Well, as most of you know on Oct 24th DISH network changed the way the keys are decrypted, thus spelling an end to the auto roll AVR and E3M cards with blocker. The Gurus tell me on cards with blocker, its the blocker thats actually stopping the rolling key changes! The blocker is doing its job....a little too well. I have been asked by some if they should remove the blocker. And the answer is...if you want a new ice scraper for the upcoming winter, sure go ahead. Because your card is marked for death and you put it in the stream for without a blocker 1 minuite kiss it goodbye. I have been closley watching this situation and will report news as I get it. I have been assured by many, and all the Gurus seem confident that Stuntteam will have a new codegen released for this. So before you go putting your IRDs and cards on ebay for $10 just wait it out. This is a part of testing, and to be expected. Charlie will always look for a way to stop the pirating of his signal, its a cat and mouse game. I personaly feel this is a great weakness on Charlies part. Thats all he can do? Just change the way the keys are decrypted? To me, that is a sign of desperation. We locked our TSOPs and eeproms so he cant go that route. I feel there is exciting times ahead in the DISH testing world, and I think this will get very interesting indeed.
