i've been trying to get box keys from 2800 jtag..tried a bunch of programs..no luck.. my home made setup pulls an id code but rejects with can't find ird..any suggestions?...thanks. BTW the ird is brand new just purchased

Some series of ird's require different jtag setups specific to the series model, what programs are you using? try to look for jtag plans specific to your ird...

virgin card? Has this unit ever been activated? If it's a new setup then you probably have the rom 10 card, which will require you to use a avr3 anyway...
