Hey all, im an ole DTV tester and got a Pansat 2700A reciever on the way. What i need is a setup explainin how to setup a Pansat 2700A. I found a Pansat 2500A setup. Can i setup the 2700A the same as the 2500A usin the files explained in 2500A setup? Or can ya point me in the right direction or post 2700A setup manuel for download. Thanks in advance :cool:

No, you can't use any of the 2500A files and/or methods for the 2700A, it doesn't work that way. Keep looking for what you need for your 2700A, but remember; do not use the 2500A staff.

Hi all had a problem with my new 2700a went to put the new program in and channel list, got knight rider could not get rid of it then found out when they shipped it it comes with the wrong cable you need a 9 pin null cable, and liked someone said you can go to radio shack and get a adapter ($8.00) it goes on the box side. So once I got that. I still could not get knight rider off then I Uploaded the channel list that did it. Went and put the original program in and then went and put the new program in and dang knight rider again, it acts like nothing is downloading. on my 2500a when you download the box shows you are downloading 5% 10% 50% 80% 100% reboot.. this just knight rider when downloading.. help Anyone, or any Ideas... ;)

In the first place the 2500A used a straight cable and the 2700A uses a null cable or cross over...........which should have been shipped with the reciever......sure you haven't gotten them mixed up?.......second......there is chance that by using the 2500 cable you may have damaged the reciever.........may I suggest this?...........first make sure you have to correct cable...........then make sure you have the correct gtrom...........then try loading the factory bin........if that works .........then try doing a blind scan....then load the bl108 bin........let me know how you come out.........

A friend give to me a pansat 2700A but it have the knight rider problem y have found several ways to fix it bye google it but i have not been able to download any file if some one can provide me the files an instructions to fix this problem.
