View Full Version : All Blackbird Owners Read! Possible Time Bomb!
This was posted @ al7bar site and sticky on the top, so I C/P posted in here for our members who own the BB.
If you have a Blackbird running any of the 5.6 series of bins, and it's still working, turn it off ASAP. Those bins are timebombed for midnight tonight (31st). Use the Ultimate Key Editor and the 7.03 or 7.02 bins to create a new one.

hello, i am running 2 pansat2700A units, but i have opp. to get a BB ST1000 for 20$,, is there a bin for that unit??

tyrader2000 03-17-2006, 08:59 PM No, only the blackbird coders were a-holes and wanted to milk as much $ as they could out of their customers before they left them behind, after selling them chip upgrades and repairs. Once some testers did the j-tag thing and then wrote their own files the bird was running fine with no company support. When N2 hit then all went to crap again. There is a hardwire/ground and coship bin workaround now but it is not fully operational. If your IRD is still being sold there should be files that are safe. Just get them from a site that tests them before they release them. Later, TY
