there is always a lag with my BB when using the remote. Its like trying to use a remote control with the batteries near dead, and no the batteries are not the problem they have been changed. Its like a delayed response from the remote. Anyone have any ideas?

It's not the remote- it's the processor in the BB, it has to think about the channel change for a while.

with the bb the more channels you delete the faster it responds, check your radio channels- if there are many tv channels in there then delete them, the performace will pick up. delete via transponder not one channel at a time, transponder delete is much faster.
