can you tell me what i need to get started with the dish stuff. What receiver and card to be looking for, the programer that i will need. Basicly every thing or is ther a good newbie file.

I'm trying to get into it too. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Also, is it possible to hook up to two if the dishnet satellites using one dtv dish?

You have to have a Dish500 sytem with dual LNB's for watching two different programs on two IRD's.
