justluc 03-08-2005, 04:33 PM Hi,
I have been with free to air for a little while and have had no problems getting system up n running. But i have followed instructions completely and having no luck. Scrambled channels. I am using Lifetime Ultra. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
tacored 03-08-2005, 04:34 PM i cant seen to get it to wotk on mine
leroco 03-08-2005, 04:55 PM First check both keys (0 and 1) to make sure you got them right. Both keys are in the original post. If you got the keys correct, you'll need to provide some more information before I could help. So first check the keys, if you got the right keys and it's still not working for ya let me know. And please include what LNB you are using and what guide you have uploaded.
I wonder if some may be hitting the wrong audio button. The audio button (For the "E") should be the button above the Menu button, which is a speaker with a question mark, not the top right button (above the 3) which has a speaker with an "X" through it.
richiesr 03-08-2005, 05:14 PM Did everything as shown put keys exactly hit ok then exit but when i check the the numbers and letters are the same but not in the same order i have done this in the past with no problem thanks for any help in advance
justluc 03-08-2005, 05:48 PM Thx for quick reply. I did everything correctly referring to codes put in. i am using LNB type standard and LNB local freq 11250. LNB power ON and TP 12224V20.000. Positioner setting disable. I am Dish 110 and am wondering if set back to factory settings then do the codes again? Am i supposed to reflash or just put codes back in. If i have to reflash can someone direct me to that flash? Sorry for all this. Thx

If I understand you correctly
Your key 0 is not equal to "8A C4 96 93 EC 79 9D 57"
or your key 1 is not equal to "01 C5 FB 21 37 B6 C0 5E"
It's imperative that these keys are entered exactly as shown. A change in the order is a change of the key and that change will not be televised (it won't work)
Ensure you are entering this key is changed on the Dish Network selection from the Nagravision Selection. Nagravision will be top left and Dish Network top right.
Ensure the cursor is in the first slot when you re-enter the key. When you can read that key (I must emphasis to double, nay triple check the key after you've entered it. Once the key is in the right order press "OK" the "OK" button in the bottom right of the screen will blink 3 times. After you see it blink 3 times, look at the key again, make sure it matches...exactly. If it does, press exit 3 times and you should be good. You may have to repeat if your key 1 does not match.

No reflash needed.
Please recheck the dish keys. Make sure they match exactly!
If I understand you correctly...You were watching Dish 110 yesterday on that receiver and you have not reflashed or uploaded a new guide since. The only thing you've done is attempt to add key 0 via the remote.
Correct?
Have you done a hard reboot? Turn off the power switch, which is located on the rear of the receiver, right in the middle. Leave it off for a minute or so. When you turn it back on, double check your Dish key's (yes again)
Do they match now? Do you see pretty pictures?
richiesr 03-08-2005, 06:12 PM what i had to do before i could change key was to reset default once i did everything worked good after i changed key.
