how to fix

press menu
go down to parental controlls, and press ok
press down arrow and enter 0000 thats 4 zeros
now go down to nagravision and press ok

now press the right side arrow next to the ok button 11 times untill it sais dish network

now press the down arrow 2 time

and press the following buttons

8 Audio signal 4 9 6 9 3 sat signal 7 9 9 pause 5 7 ok

the new key should read as follows
8A C4 96 93 EC 79 9D 57
then exit all of the way out!!

YEs it is for Pansat but I beleive will work on the others FTA receivers too.
Might be different way of setting up. But it should be the same key #

Thanks for key 1, I was very frustrated last night when they apparently changed the keys again after only 2 days! Is it usual for them to change one then the other a couple of days apart? Do you know how close anyone is on a working autoroll? I loaded 243 when the keys changed tues. in hopes that it would work. I've noticed that overnight it displays "downloading keys" then some gibberish. Maybe its trying to roll the keys, but there's still a bug.

Do you have channels scanned /loaded? My menus don't all work until I load the channel list, and loading a new .bin USUALLY clears everything out. Weirdly enough, I reloaded a bin last night to see if it would help, and it kept all the settings.

:blink: when I try to press the 0 key while holding the down key I get nothing
if I let go of the down key then press the 0000 it goes to new password again if I press the down button no zeros so I press 0000 it goes to confirm password It repeats I press 0000 and it starts over to confirm password.
I have a regular pansat 2500A - I tried redownloading the bin - didn't work however it didn't erase the channels from the previous scan.
the 2nd password request doesn't come up
I tried the up and left and right buttons - still no luck. any suggestions would be appreciated.

are you trying to flash or do the key change?

I lost some channels so I reflashed with a the current bin. Then when I tried the key change I couldn't get to the setup.
I did a Key change before - a couple of months ago and I got to the 2nd password and did the key change and everything worked fine. I loaded the
Pansat 2500A_050304_234_api(N).bin and I can't get to the key changes.
After i get my channel list in pansat 2500a,go to parental control, to select second pin, its not there, only old pin,new pin,confirm pin, cant get to CAS system.
I used the 2500A Boot Repai Kit-v4.zip in the General FTA Files Section to fix.
1. Swtich 2500a unit off in back.
2. Open the Blacklist Updater v1.4
3. Click the button that says "BOOT"
4. Load Boot60.bin in "SELECT BIN" window
4. Turn on back switch
5. On the third light - - - start the download ("WRITE BIN") and let it finish.
However it doesn't finish - the download stays at 0% and the units "knightrider lights just keep going. been going for hours
What can I do now? :(
