Hi all. A new member and it looks like you have a great site here.

I've had my Pansat 2500 for about 6 months and love it, minus one small problem. It goes from 119 to 110 channels flawlessly, but in the opposite direction I need to turn the receiver off (I can use the remote, not the rocker switch) to return to a 119 channel.

My first guess is the switch, but I'm too cheap to buy one without an experienced person telling me that it is likely the problem. I've tried using ports 3 and 4 on the switch as well as reversing the port each sat goes into, but to no avail.

Any ideas? Thanks.

mine is opposite, 110 is fluctuating and usually I change to Guide Channel and doing this I´m able to get all 110 channels.

by the way, I´ve couple of new diseq switches, but I´m lazy for the change. I also have seen temperature affects the abiliy to change. when is cold, no way for switching bettween sats, when temperature is above 70F it works perfectly.

the LNB to DiSEqC switch cables should be the same length also check and tighten all your connections, to troubleshoot the problem, U can swap parts till something changes

try changing your connections 1 to 2 and 2 to 1 at the DiSEqC switch and in the menu, if U are using a channel list open it in GTools and double click the 110 and change the DiSEqC setting and do the same to the 119 and save it then load it to your reciever, swap cables 1 to 2 and 2 to 1 if the problem changes to the other sat then its probably a cable or the switch, if it stays the same its probably an LNB problem, next swap LNBs and if the problem goes to the other sat U might be able to use the second leg if its a Dual LNB

hope this helps someone ^_^
