You did not erase the ecm'd sector. Do a search using the word "sector" Find your receiver model on the post and there you will find the sector to erase. Do it threee times. Getting those two channels almost always means the box is still shot. Happy j-tagging

1. Verify the location ID, and make sure IRD update OK.

2. Verify the Box key #.

This is what I told you in my post previous. Use the search button above and type in sector. There are a few posts about it. I repeat, match your model number and then erase the right sector. I beleive thier is even a sticky somewhere. I can't tell much more simple than that.

I think your IRD tsop corupt you may need to reflash whole orginal stop when you save for the first time you get your boxkeys. I think your IRD sub right ?

Hi guys, thanks for the insight. My prob was exactly the same as gamesters and when I found the two sectors to clean for my dp301-010 and cleaned them. BAM after putting the box on air without the atmega in it I got a location ID. My problem is with keeping it. I've tried that numax creator...doesn't work at all. Just keeps giving me this error line 13 box and shuts down. And TCFD II which is great...if I put in ANY PPV or even if I put in some channels like the Outdoor Network...I get hit immediately.

My question now is...is there a direct relationship between my ird number and cam id? One help guide said to take the numbers and convert them to hex...and put that number in there as the cam id...that don't work as it said cam id can't contain letters...only numbers. Am I doing something wrong?

Here is how to fix the location ID 00000000001 ECM Sector Erase Info (http://forums.dsstester.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=29515)

It the location ID got ECM, no need to reflash the tsop.

When the Receiver TSOP corrupted: your receiver will not power up.

If you have a sub receiver, then the IRD # and CAMID has to match.

To program the atmega board, you don't have to convert the IRD # or CAM ID # into hex, for exsample R - 00-1234-5678-90 and S- 00-1234-5678-90, if this are your IRD # and CAMID #, when you enter them to the Jeeper for atmega, you only enter S- 00-1234-5678. The last two digits is the CHECKEDSUM#.

If you need the camid, you can use SCAMMER to generate one SCAMMER- V2 (http://forums.dsstester.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=28121&highlight=scammerv2)
