View Full Version : Pantec Uploader Shutdown Nitelyne 01-13-2005, 06:52 PM I have just received my Pantec 2500PF. When I try to install the update, with Win 98, the MNP.exe program comes up but shuts down as soon as I click on Update program now :cry: . It does not give the option of loading the FTA.dat file. The Pantec MS has to have the factory flash put on it before you can flash it to a Pansat or a Fortec. The factory flash will not work on Win98. I was having the same problem and I took it over to a friends that was running XP put the factory flash on and then was able to go back to my puter with win98 and load anything I wanted on it. Where would I get the factory flash for it? My MS 2500PF is new too, I understand you can clone it to Viewsat. Would I still need to factory flash it or just put the Viewsat load in it.
