Hi,
I programmed my Pansat 2500a for the first time the other day and after only 2 days, all the channels got scrambled. I have a twin LNB, their not seperate with Dish 500. Also, I'm not using a DiSeq switch. The only satellites I'm using are 110 & 119. The bin file name I used is X-8500_041202_237d_VeM(N). So I guess my question is how come it only lasted 2 days ? I'm doing something wrong ?
Thanks for help in advance.
I did the forums searched on " scrambled " this come up, hope it help

Your going to have problems if your using the D**h 500 twin LNB (one piece). I played with it and could only get it to work for short periods of time. The problem is the built in switch which does not communicate with the Pansat receiver. I saw in the forum that if you change the Freq to 10725 that stablizes it some so it can be used. I had no luck with that. FTA likes a Freq of 11250. "Start reading, You'll be surprised what information (and knowledge) there is in the forums". This is a great place to learn about FTA.
Good Luck

I am a newbie to this but remote1 is wrong I have a dishpro 500 dish(built in switch) running to 2 pansat 2500s with absolutely no problems at all.You have to set it up a bit different.Standard,11250,for bird 119 put diseq on #1,bird 110 on diseq #2 ,22 mhz off for both. Also if its a dishpro then you have to use a modified channel list to get all the channels in right.I also run the 237 bin file with my own homemade channel list.Hopefully this helps a bit cuz I have read for hours on this stuff.

Shatteredsoul,
Thanks for the reply and correction. I'm learning too. I haven't had the luck you seem to be experiencing. I'll work some more with it to see what more I can learn.
shatteredsoul, you need to verify what type of LNB that you have. If it does not have a DP in a black box on it, it is a Legacy duel which is NOT compatible with FTA. The D**H Pro has a built in diseqc switch that works nicely with FTA. The only thing that you have to do different is you have to use a channel list that is modified for DP to get all the channels. Hope this clears things up for you. Let me know if you have anymore ?'s about DP that is all I use. Good luck!
