Good Evening,
I have recently purchased the Pansat Receiver and I was wondering if I need to load or program the receiver before I can begin to watch tv. If so, are the files provided on this website, if someone can help me out I would really appreciate it (or even a tutorial on setting up your pansat 3000 receiver, forgive me but I am coming from a directv background).
I do apologize in advance if there was a thread regarding the Pansat 3000 that I overlooked, have a nice day.

It is my understanding that a pansat 3000 is an unauthorized pansat 2500 clone and is not made by pansat. You could try using pansat 2500 software, or ask whoever sold it to you how to set it up.

Does this mean that this is a fake? There is a website that they gave me but it doesnt work but i was thinking that I was doing something incorrect.

panset 3000 is a clone but works ok flash with x.8500.04916.235 bin and set new keys all found in file sec.

I own a 3000 as well. I had a manual in my box (not a very well written manual, but it was there:-). So if this was a clone, I'd be VERY surprised. The manual has contact info inside it for reaching Pansat. Can't imagine someone cloning a pansat and giving it another model number and then giving me ways to reach the real pansat people. Then I would just tell them who I purchased the "clone" from and its lawyer vs lawyer time for the cloner and pansat.
If that IS the case, this would be the worlds dumbest cloner dudes.
8pm GMT -800: Well I stand half corrected. The 3000 is a clone. And these ARE the dumbest cloner dudes ever. But I have been able to use all the bins, files, tools ment for the 2500A for my unit.
