See additional post below for NEWEST 3-10-05 Keys

Hi, to begin with I had a problem with my Pansat 2500a displaying "Downloading" and "Wait for Picture" after installing the Black list and channels. Everything I tried to do just left me with the blank screen and the signal strenghts showing good.

I looked around different sites and found from reading that I may have lost my "Keys". I went through the steps and fixed mine. I have seen the same complaint from others so here is the steps I learned.

From the menu go to the Parental Control "Second Pin". If you have not changed it, the default is "0000". Now your in the code area. Go down to the "Set Default Key" and click on it.

Next click on "Nagravision". From your remote use the volume "< >" buttons to scroll to "Dish Network" as your provider.

Now you will see Provider ID. You want "00 01" in that space.

Next there are two key numbers. For "00" and "01". Again go down to it and use your volume button to navigate.

The Keys you want to enter in the "Key data" section are below.

Key 00= 06 07 f0 e2 61 6f e1 45

Key 01= 01 c5 fb 21 37 b6 c0 5e

Save your settings and exit out of the area. When you get to the page that showed the "Set Default Key" make sure the "Key EMU is set to ON" Then exit to watch TV. This worked for me and solved a night of confusion.

Hope it works for you. 12-03-04
