i'm trying to find out how clear of a picture do pansat deliver .Compared to cable and dtv.. And do it transmit HDTV signals on say the locals like NBA on NBC. . And does Pansat have a TV guide with the little PIP in the corner?

pansat is clearer then directv and much clearer then cable. you cant get HDTV yet. epg works on limited satellite providers, doesnt work for dishnet.

in my opinon, pansat is not as clear as D*TV, and theres not really a true guide, just channel listings. I have the 2500a reciever and just got into this like 5 days ago, so maybe my setup is not setup to be at its full potential, but from what i have exprience D*TVs quailty was way better.

I also have a Pansat 2500a and the picture is DVD quality. You need to hook it up to your TV with either the super VHS if you got it, or the rca jacks and you will get a lot better picture. Hope this helps.
