Up is off
Down is ON
Only one switch is on at a time, most applications work with all 4 off. Advanced procesers require 3 ON and atmel pins 13 and 13 shorted together.
D1 ON = 1/2 clock speed inverse phase glitching
D2 ON = clock speed normal phase glitching
D3 ON = clock speed inverse phase glitching
D4 ON = 1/2 clock speed normal phase glitching

Pin 1 and 2 are not used on the unit.

Flashing: 3 on 4 thru 8 off
Lode Mode: 3-4 on, and only one clock switch of your choice.(Most succuess 6 on)
Unloop Mode: 3 on, 4 thru 8 off
Phoenix Mode: ALL OFF
For HU testing unplug, switch 3 on, everything else off.
Flash HU code.
Put switches 3,4 and either five or six
(both work but choose one at a time only)
Power on and your ready.

J6 controls the loader glitch options. When a jumper is installed on the #1 pair of jumper pins (default setting), this is the equivalent of connecting (shorting) pins 13 and 14 of the Atmel chip to one another. When jumper is installed on the #2 pair of jumper pins, gated clock pulses are supplied to pin 14 of the Atmel chip. If necessary, it is permissible to install jumpers on both the #1 and #2 pin pairs of J6.

J7 controls the clock glitch selection.By default, the #2 set of jumper pins have a jumper installed on them
Pair #1 - 18.432 MHz gate (normal)
Pair #2 – 9.216 MHz gate (normal) – default setting
Pair #3 - 9.216 MHz gate (inverted)
Pair #4 – 18.432 MHz gate (inverted)

=====================
T5 TERMINATOR TYPHOON
=====================

The UNLOOPER MODE comes already comes programmed with SU2 code. To change the Unlooper code from SU2 to whatever code you want, make sure that switch 5 is in UNLOOPER MODE (#5 switch UP) then use the FLASH utility (or any available flash utility) to flash the UNLOOPER MODE to any of the current available codes.

The LOADER MODE comes without any code- you must flash the unit yourself, which only takes a few seconds. To program the code in to the LOADER MODE make sure that switch 5 is in LOADER MODE (#5 switch Down) then use the FLASH utility (or any available flash utility). After you flash your Terminator T5 Typhoon you will have a fully functioning Loader.

HOW TO OPERATE THE T5 IN UNLOOPER MODE

To operate in UNLOOPER MODE move switch #5 to the UP position. The software that the Unlooper will work with depends on the code you used to flash the UNLOOPER MODE. The Terminator T5 Typhoon comes flashed with the UNLOOPER MODE flashed to SU2.

HOW TO OPERATE THE T5 IN LOADER MODE

To operate in LOADER MODE move switch #5 to the DOWN position. This enables the micro processor chips on the bottom side to enter the glitch mode. The software that the LOADER MODE will work with depends on the code you used to flash the LOADER MODE. The Terminator T5 Typhoon will work perfectly with all currently available "PRO" type software.

T5 SWITCH SETTINGS

Between the power input and the place where you attach the serial cable you will notice a blue box with 5 white switches on it. These are the switches you need to use to select which mode you want to use, as well as to fine tune the glitching. For best results it is suggested that you normally set switch #3 to the DOWN position to get the most out of your Terminator T5 Typhoon. This allows the clock to operate at 18.432 MHz, and makes sure that the glitches are started in relation to the rising edge of the system clock- in other words- FULL TILT MODE! Feel free to try your Terminator T5 Typhoon in any other clock setting, but ONLY HAVE ONE OF THE SWITCHES DOWN AT A TIME SWITCH #1 OR #2 OR #3 OR #4 DOWN @ A TIME.

Switch # 1 is half clock negative slope
Switch # 2 is half clock positive slope
Switch # 3 is full clock positive slope
Switch # 4 is full clock negative slope
Switch # 5 toggles between UNLOOPER MODE and LOADER MODE. (UP for UNLOOPER, DOWN for LOADER)
