Blup you should learn everything you can about IRDcM by satFTA. With that app you can pull all sorts of raw info out of the ram of the ird. The hardest thing about it is creating the irdcm.ini file but many times that can be found already done. IRDcM is well worth the learning experience.

ive tried and tried! it crashes on all of my pc's and i can't get any answers/assistance. i've even posted at the forum where satfta supposdly resides and have heard nothing. i'm not the only one who has problems. seems that several 3900 users experience the same thing.

Well you can see that satFTA prefers people to read what's already posted then to keep repeating himself. If you can describe what you've done and the specific problems we may be able to get it going. I don't have an up to date ram dump for the 3900 so unless someone posts the ini for it being SW 232 I'll only be able to help guide you.

I don't see anything posted here about such so if you're game we'll see what we can get going here on the subject.

Blup I've posted on that thread you sent. You still haven't posted either there or here as to what problems you were having. You only said that it was the same as what they were having. I haven't made a post on the 20_48 yet but fixing to to satFTA as there is an issue with online testing it on a 301-13. I thought at first it was just me or the particular ird I was working on but I've confirmed it with another ird now. The shift V to get the DNLD doesn't seem to do anything. It works fine pulling that info in offline mode with a .bin but not online turned on or off.

Reason I state this is because the 20_48 is used for the 301-10, 301-13, and now for the 3900 now too. Otherwise the 20_48 seems to work good here.

i thought i replied to this somewhere. anywho, after getting that new file, it runs when i process a bin. however, the files that it creates only contain the channels/tiers that i have enabled! not helpful if i want info on how to make a new tier out of new channels that i currently do not have! it still crashes in "live" mode but it gets much farther than it used too. it's been days since i have tried it and baised on the troubles im having, ive decided that i dont have time to fool with this app. all i was trying to do was get the tier for the idaho falls id locals and the lubbock tx locals when they launch on sat 148 :/

Well on the tier issue yes you are correct. What you have to do is use a couple limited 3m's and run the app a few times to get the tiers. Say setup 1 3m for 0001-1200 or something to that effect. Basically you just want to do it in such a way where you don't go over the channel capacity of the ird which is 750 max. After doing that a couple of times and adjusting the 3m range you will have all the raw data for the tiers.

As far as it crashing in online mode I can't say for sure. You'll have to post the log as to what the error is so we can go from there.

well, with charlie, all i know is yvous emu. i know what a 3m is from my dave days. what do i need to get a 3m emu for charlie ?

Blup it's done with the 08 tier. Low of 0001 and high of 7FFF would be a wide open 3m but very subject to get hit. That's what I was referring to in my previous post of using smaller chunks. Don't let it run for very long otherwise you'll not just be reading the ird but fixing ecm'd ird too...lol.

Blup, you might want to try Plastic. It's way easier than Dish emu, once you learn, forget it, you'll be unstoppable, consider it!

plastic doesn't hold a thing with dish emu. I've never read yet where a emu bin is locked or looped and can't be corrected...lol.

yea... i mean i've been up since.... feb ??? no ecm's or nuffin, cept for a couple times when i was foolin with things so i got myself hit. emu is better than plastic if you ask me. i did plastic with dave and it was a pain.... until i got activation down :yes: i tried plastic with charlie but didnt grasp the whole open/closed rom madness so i looped a card. went emu and i'm happy!

Yes, Emu is a little more difficult, but once you get it you're up for good. As you can see from testimonies, emu definetely keeps you running solid. Although a little more reading is involved it's a choice worth looking into.

212C kills one of the locals
2141 kills another local so a low of 212B and a high of 2142 gets all 5 locals.

Those 6 zeros would be the rights id. How that is calculated is find the lowest channel you are trying to get within the tier. Take that decimal number and convert it to hex and that's what goes in that set of numbers. If you can tell me what sat those locals are on and what channel numbers they should show up as I'll see what I can find out for you.

I pulled this info from elsewhere but it said that lubbock was 7938-7942 which rights would be 001F02. Your idaho falls coincides with what i found of 7740-7746.
