Ctech 09-16-2004, 01:47 PM there is a flash that is supposed to make the loader acted like a dish programmer called echoloader but you have to use freetalk to load the card I would suggest you get a 3.68 dish programmer I saw one for sell the other day for 20.00 in the for sale section and you will save yourself the headaches and probably a looped card Bobthetech 09-16-2004, 03:42 PM I am in total agreement with Ctech. For the few dollars it will cost to purchase an ISO programmer that was designed and built for this purpose, why bother to screw around like this? There are some individuals who really enjoy building/modifying stuff to make it work the way they want it to work. If that is your cup of tea, then okay, what else can I say? But it you just want something that works and works well, then get an ISO programmer that was made to do this kind of programming. Dicster 09-17-2004, 01:22 AM i hav bought an iso both from newbie09 and topshelf22....so i hav an iso already. i heard peeps could change the crystal in these loader and make it work...so i thought i could give it a try. i jus like to tinker with the things i hav layin around, that's why i decided jus to mess with it ^_^ . for the sake of knowledge i guess :p . Bobthetech 09-17-2004, 05:22 AM That being the case, then I say, "Go for it". There are several people who enjoy doing this kind of thing. I very much enjoy doing stuff like this. But you have to be very careful. Like Ctech said, you can easily loop a Rom card if you aren't careful. If you screw up just one Rom card with your modification project you may find it wasn't really worth it. So have fun and let us know how it all works out. I, for one, would be very much interested in hearing about how it works. Ctech 09-17-2004, 06:18 AM yea bud thats cool I like to tinker to when I get time you can use the loader for unlocking dish cards some programs require a programmer some use a dtv loader good luck bud  iggypop 09-17-2004, 07:58 AM i think you need to change the loader back to the original crystal, the flash on the atmel is what you need to change. hope this helps- it will only work with certain programs-(like mighty loader) changing the crystal is for the iso's TRUMP 10-25-2004, 02:45 PM I remember when chaning out the crystals on your old t911 seemed like a challenge. Now it's only use seems to be for the rev 383, A23 unlocking, and even then you supposedly have to tune the hell out of it to get it working properly. You don't hear too much about them being really efficient. |
