Hey all, i'm new here, so please bare with me.
I'm having an ISO 7816 and an HU loader, they use to work great with DTV cards, for the ISO 7816, can i just change the original crystal to 3.6848 Mhz crystal and it'd work? and same for my loader? the loader has programmer mode also.
Thanks for your help.

LOL Sorry no help yet. I have an ISO for dave and it works well with Rom 10 cards. I did not change the crystal. I have been unsuccessful with rom 3s. There are some programs out there that will allow you to reflash your HU loader and test with charlie. Hope that helps.

There are a lot of people out there doing a lot of different things in an attempt to get a working Dish Network programmer. They are modifying older programmers and some people are even building their own programmer. I have to give them credit, they are trying to make it work and if they succeed, well, then I guess they are ahead of the game.

But I have to tell you straight out, in my opinion, you are much better off just buying a regular ISO programmer with a 3.68mhz crystal in it. The cost will be under $50 and it will work great for you. There will be no screwing around trying to get it to work, and when you get it you are ready to program your card.

Once you have a working programmer, and you have your card programmed and working, then would be the time to play around trying to make an older one work if you want to.
