I got my new pansat 2500A and set up with dish500 with 110-119.This dish get two satellites without using any switch. For some reason that I do not know example if I get like po-n channel on echo6,8 and it black out on echo7 channel.Turn the power OFF and On again this time I get well on Echo7 and blackout on echo6,8.Why can I get from both satellites at the same time? My sub dish receiver works every well with the same dish.Any help or suggestions will be appreciated and thankfull .

If it has an internal switch like the Legacy Duel then it will not work at all, If it is a DishPro then you will need a modified channel list.

also, the two satellites are pretty close in proximity. that may explain why you are getting signal "quality" on both echo settings. i get the same "quality" signal, but no t.v. when i'm on the wrong bird.

Thanks both of you for the input.Mel42 can you tell me how to check if my dish 500 is a legacy dual or a dish500 pro. That might be the problem. Your help will be appreciated and thankfull.

The DishPro should have the letters "DP" in bold black on the front of the LNB.
If it does not then it is probably a legacy and will not work at all. You could just swap the legacy with two separate duel lnb's, they should fit right in the existing LNB holders.
