I have a 3900 reciever that has not been hit (it has a valid loc ID#) I have a brand new atmega 128 card and have programmed it several times using various programs (dish@home, mikenet, dish9, etc.) I am getting the same result which is only recieving the music channels. The IRD boots up on channel 156 (Cirius) and then jumps to 450. I get several channels in the 400s and then it jumps to the 800s and goes up from there. I have read for 2 solid days and can find nothing that relates to this problem since Cirius is a pay channel (right?). I have run chk sw and everything is good. Can anyone please help me? Thanks in advance for any advice you guys may have.

Make sure you IRD has update to the later firmware, then program your atmega with new fix, make sure all the system information were enter correct.

Go to info and check the location I.D. and see if it is at 0000001. If it is your IRD has been been ECMed. In order to fix this you must have a device called a J-Tag and a program called J-Keys. Each IRD has a specific sector areas to erase after this happens!

Try using a premade pfg file. Theres some in the dish file section.
