Ok here is what I have done. I had a regular dish network dish set up and I could dial in about any bird with it.
Now I bought me a JVC dish 500 with the thing that says 119 and 110 with two lnb's. I have set it up. Came out of each lnb with a cable lead and put my 110 into lnb 1 and 119 into lnb 2 on my disq swithch. Then I came from the thing on the switch that says receiver. Ok..I dialed 110 back in but why can't I get 119? I have went into installation menu just as I would if I were trying to find 110, Shouldn't 119 becoming in? I have my dsq setting set up right in the menu. Is there something I am missing? Do I have the right dish for getting the two birds?
Any help will be appreciated. thanks

Could have something to do with the fact that the FTAs were hit on 08/12/04 and the 110 (apparently) is back online somewhat, but the 119 is completely down with no fix in sight.

hi : make sure you don"t have anything in the way. like trees or a wall or a house even if is 50 feet away make sure dish is higth of the ground.

Yeah I read the forums and have been testing sat equip for three years or longer. Look at when I registered? Then look at my post count. Do I look like someone that ask a lot of questions?

if everything doesn't seem to work, the diseqc might be the problem, y not try the 22khz switching method? Just a thought.

Can you explain how to do this?
Is it true that I have to dial in 119 and 110 will take care of itself? If so I have 110 dialed in first and am not getting 119...thanks

You should tune in 110 first and then use the :yes: skew on your dish to get 119.. Try that.....
