Good Morning All: I have a question. If I only use one dish (DTV) to hook up my Pansat 2500. what will be my limitations? What will the extra Dishes give me? Is there a way to acomplish this with one dish? for each Dish would I have to run a seperate Coax to the house? Where can I buy a extra dish? What are the LND's used for ? Where can they be purchased? Where is the best place to buy a Pansat.
Thank You in advance

if the pansat is like the silver bullet, you need either a super dish with 3 LNB'S or a separate dish for each satellite you wish to receive. you can apparently run all the LNB's to a multi-switch so that you'll only have a single input to your receiver.

MAN!! first, if you use just 1 dish, you'll only be able to receive channels from the one sat it's pointed at. Put you a motor control on it, then after scanning for all sats, you'll have all of'em. If you use seperate dishs for each sat, yes, you'd have to run cable to a switch to combine the signal right before the ird. The LNB is a low noise block converter that ??? converts signal. Right? Can't remember, too long ago. If you want to go seperate dishs, I'd pick' em up locally, lots not being used and laying around for nothing these days. Go to ebay, consumer electronics, satellite, search for FTA and Whew!!! LOOK OUT!!!
