Do any of the FTA receivers have HD capability? It's not a major selling point, but it would be nice. Do any of the FTA boxes offer component video out? That is my major want because all of my theater equip is on component and sadly my receiver does not upswitch to component.
What would be the best one to get? I like the price of the pansat's, but is one model better than the others? I saw a 2500 and on one post a mention of a 3500.

no ftas have hd..which sucks...i have just ordered a pansat and am gonna try to use the off air antenna output on my hd receiver to see if maybe that works

Look into DVB PCI card.

your on it mel DVB will do it!!!!!!! and to all having trouble with the new fix for fta box's the DVB cards where back up in less than an hour!!!!!!
