You can can be right, 301.013 = address SA-50 (1 x 4 meg tsop), unless the firware is off of date(old firmware)

For the 301-13 sa49 or sa50 will still work. You can use either one now but maybe not after we move past software ver.204 Time will tell.Well were at
205 now so might have to use sa50 I have 204 on all mine

Here is the latest scoop and an easy way to fix without stream update. This is a C/P :.....
I am posting this here since most people come straight in here when
they get hit AND since people tend to post their ird troubles in here
after an ecm when it should be in the jtag/tsop area. Maybe this will
help. I have been doing this for a while now myself. Saw where
someone posted this on another site but didnt explain it as well
and could cause some people to mess up their irds. So here is my
version of how to do it and it a bit more detailed.

First off you need the jtag for your ird.
Next Jkeys of course.
And Hexworkshop.

Hook up the ird and jkeys like normal. Depending on your ird is the
sa#you want.

2700-3700 SA5
3800-4900 SA30
301-010 Flash1 SA7 if it is up todate, if not look in SA8.
301.013. Dual tsop Flash 2 SA18
301.013 SINGLE Tsop SA50 not 49 unless you are quite out of date.
501 with 223 update Flash 2 SA60.
501 at 222 update Flash 2 SA61
SOME PEOPLE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS FINDING THE RIGHT SECTORS TO ERASE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE ERASE A SECTOR UNLESS YOU FIND THE HEX STRING AS STATED BELOW IN THIS POST
Read the SA# number depending on your ird and the update of the
firmware. Save as something simple such as 111 or AAA or what ever
is easy for you. Save where you will remember it as well.

Now that you have read the SA#, open hexworkshop.
Open the bin you just saved.
Click on FIND. Type in 7888B44F14

Now make sure the area 7888B44F14 is highlighted and rigt click on it.
Go down to FILL. Type in FF and hit OK.

Save that as 222 or BBB or what ever you want to remember it of course.
Go back to jkeys, hook up jtag again, go into flash programming and
select the sa# you picked.
Click on erase. When done, click on Program, select the repaired
sector and write it to it.

Hook ird up and do a check switch test.
Watch tv.

This will save alot of headaches for people that have 301's that take
20 mins to update when this can be done in about 1min or so. I am not
the one who figured this out and have no idea who it was but was
showed the way by a good friend.
