To test the AVR,, you card has to be sub, or ex sub. No box key # need for AVR, you need Jeeper, and AVR laster file to program the AVR board.

the card is an ex sub from another box

the card is an ex sub from another box

If your ex-sub card, been out off the stream for long time, and if you want to time with AVR board, then you can try the following

how to update AVR with SUB.

Ok starting from the beginning

1. Put your sub card in IRD, till you get all video/sound. This will update you sub card, with a new active publick key. This will stream LOCK your card

2. Open Jeeper, fill in all the information, Where CAM type selecting EX-SUB, and get the later key:

For exsample
ExpressVU AUX 0 is active,
AUX0 20 85 FD 1F A0 C7 48 62 Active
AUX1 65 57 46 14 36 02 D8 DA

3. Put Aux0 in the public key box, and mark DOT in Aux 0

4. Make sure all the information are correct, then full monty. When it complate, don't close the Jeeper yet, put card and avr together, then put in IRD, make sure it working, get all the channels(video/sound)

5. If it working then back to Jeeper Save the AVR configuration, and name it.

For next time when Bev changed the new key, all you have to do:

a) Open the Jeeper, load the Avr configuration you had save from #5.

b) update new key, Hit GET to to update with the new key. NOT NEED TO CHNAGE THE PUBLIC KEY, and hit write, and Watching TV.

*** PS *** If you put the sub card back in the IRD, then you have to change the public key.

PS If you do this, and your card will be lock., so I suggest that get the ISO programmer to program the card.
