I HAVE TWO ROM 10 CARDS THAT I CAN'T GET INTO BECAUSE THE BACKDOOR IS LOCKED ON THEM.I JUST GOT ANOTHER ROM 10 CARD FROM A FRIEND THAT HASN'T BEEN IN THE STREEM IN 3 YRS. THE BACK DOOR IS OPENED BUT I DON'T THINK I CAN USE IT IN MY IRD BECAUSE IT IS MARRIED TO HIS BROKEN IRD THAT HAS BEEN THROWN AWAY IS THIS CARD JUNK WITHOUT AN AVR OR CAN I CLEAN IT TO A VIRGIN STATE.
PLEASE HELP.

If it's a ROM10 that hasn't been in the stream for 3 years, then yes, you can program it with a 3m, blocker, put on your own boxkeys and your good to go...

Note: had a quick look in this site's Dish files and can't find any ROM10 specific files, what you'll need is NagraEdit 3.0, NBCDISH 3M & blocker, or check for newer RTM which support rom10...

Don't you need to create a 'backdoor hash' before you can program that ROM10?

I am trying to program my REV A1B ...but there are different programs that will do the same thing..can someone tell me which is the easiest way to program a ROM10..Tks in advance
