View Full Version : Rom 3 rev 372 gratefulme 04-27-2003, 10:50 AM I have a rom 3 that is closed at rev 372. I can't seem to get opensesame to work when I put it in it seems to hang after saying: atr received sending data waiting responce waiting responce Is there something I am doing wrong? Ctech 04-27-2003, 03:49 PM http://www.dsstester.com/download.asp?f_id=378&cat_id=19 this one has worked or me!! if you have a avr good luck :D HerbGreen III 04-27-2003, 07:25 PM I would keep hammering it... with the opensesame, I had a rom3 took me a few days of trying for a couple hours a day... on the other hand I've also opened about 3 that were fairly quick, less than an hour..... it wasn't till I used a slow computer did I start to get "backdoor appears open" msg... But I had probably 20 false msg's saying backdoor is open... just had to keep re-checking in nagra... it does mark the card, but normal blockers cover it ... Or just send it out for cleaning :) gratefulme 04-27-2003, 08:37 PM Thanks guys. I've already got some cards going out to dishcard tomorrow. I might as well throw it in. 2 hours of my time is worth more than what it will cost me to get it fixed. I will set that dish monkey program to run all night though. maybe if I set it for 50,000 retrys it will work. lol. O yeah I almost forgot, I don't have an avr so the other program won't work. By the way Herb good to see ya again. munro_d44 05-03-2003, 11:28 AM Opened a rev. 378 last week w/ Dishmonkey. Set it for 1,000 tries and watched a movie. Ran bugbusters in NE 2 about 2k times while jacking card. Was able to get in using xcel 3.6 by overflow method. Then wrote clean rev. 372 bin and all was well. Now can read backdoor in xcel or NE.:yes: |
