Guys, this is my first posting and I am very new to this stuff....so please bear with me.
I presently have dishnet setup and pay $25/month to a guy.....it is kinda semi-legal, never goes down. But don't get PPVs.
Anyways, recently I bought a second receiver from Wal-mart in Michigan thinking that I can get the card programmed and run a splitter in existing setup and use it for the second TV.
I took the receiver to couple of guys and they told me that this is a ROM 10 card and is useless. Cannot be programmed. I need to buy another type of ROM card....everything will cost me $200.
Guys, Please le me know what should I do. Is there someplace in Toronto(GTA) who can do this job or is there any hardware I can buy which can fix the card as and when it gets zapped???
