I am going through the steps of setting up the rqcs on my dreambox 500s, I am using the rqcs how to guide (pdf) and I'm stuck between pages 7 and 8,

I have the necessary files copied over to the dream box (rqcs & rqcs.conf) however I am not sure if my .conf file is configured correctly (I did not make any changes to it) using rqcs 1.06 btw.

In the terminal window, the 3 files are green, everything seems to be setup ok up to this point,

When trying to run the rqcs server running, I keep getting errors saying that there are no active slots, and terminating.

I am not sure if I am supposed to make any changes to the .conf file, etc...

Any help would be appreciated.

do you have to pay to a site to get this setup running because it seems that nobody is giving me a answer.

yes. you have to pay for the server,if thats what you asking.,all the dreamboxes.only run through private set up.nothing public for the dreambox.

can someone send me I private message telling me where I can find a site for I private server, because I do not think you can post it on the site. I know of one but to me it is to much money for a private server.
