I revived my Mvidia FS4000 with my old BUD 10 footer works great onC/Ku band and has more sats and transponders listed than my pansat 3500sd but dont seem to have the power output or signal strenth the pansat does on a long run of cable rg6 from the dish only plus is more channels per sat try useing them for what they were made for this time lots of things to watch TP53

Blindscan was always lousy,even with euro firmware.They ended up removing it from the menu.
There was a tuner mod,but I could never get details on what or why.There were no instructions,just a jpeg pic.That bookmark is long gone.It was on a site that just had firmware files.

The only thing it was good for was jtag practice on a conexant based receiver.

dont know about that seems to work better on some transponders as well as finds more channels at a lower signal and quality on blind scan than my pansat 3500sd wouldent haved belived it if i hadent done it my ownself this is better than letting it set in a closet doing nothing although there will never again be a fix for it it still has a use for a lot of good tv just a thought TP53
