They found the bug that was causing the freezing these past few days. Most ll Dishnet channels are up, PPV and Porn on Dishnet. All HD channels on both providers.
Freeze free. Beat that.

There is no VOD option on Bev....I don't think there is anyway. That means no ppv on Bev.

To be accurate, the slinger is working better than it ever has. This is true. That is not the same as 100% freeze free. There has been some micro freezing. It's only been this good for a day, so don't jump the gun and assume all is well. It is working almost entirely freeze free. It's definitely good enough to record for permanent storage.

There are a couple issues regarding the server that hopefully have been addressed but only time will tell. First, why did load have to crash the server before the server was upgraded enough to handle the current load. How long will it be before enough are using the slingers because they're the only thing working creates another unprepared for overload? And most importantly, how come the server isn't set up so that it's not effected by dDos attack? You have to assume a server like the slinger will be under dDos attack every minute of every day that it's online. dDos wont be all that hits it either. I suspect all kinds of sophisticated attacks are in store for the slinger server.

Those issues pending, if the current level of quality continues, most will be quite happy with their slingers.

Attacks from the legit providers, the competition (FTA suppliers), AND jerks trying to prove a point. All of the above is what the slinger server has in store for it. That's why I say let's wait and see. Maybe they have it all worked out now and that's why things are working so good at this time. The next couple weeks will tell.

First of all you are thread highjacking- you should post questions in the proper section...second of all there are no 'new files' for any fta to unless you have something capable of using IKS. So I guess the bottom line is you can't get a new file for your receiver until ( if it ever is ) n3 is hacked.

Well Saturday night is the busiest time and I saw one 4 second freeze all night. I can't take credit for them fixing the bug, I am only selling them. If this is how they perform at peak demand it will be beautiful.
