does dbox need to be conected on line all the time to work?
i have a coolie sat 5000.i hbeen reading a lot about dbox how well does .
im planing to go with dbox soon. info will be apreciated:beer:

i have a Dreambox 500S and i don't leave my LAN hooked up all the time...i hook it up when the picture starts freezing...it usually updates the keys within 5 minutes of attaching the cable or you can delete the keylist file and the RCAMQ will replace it pretty quickly.

If you have your own sub N3 or a plastic N2 you dont need to be connected to Internet at all! On the other end if you depend on an outside server .... you have to be connected at all times (your dreambox that is)
