so after the very helpful advice of two of the members here, i got my DB500S setup up and working fine for a few days, i actually left it on for 3 days straight, but i turned it off and haven't used it for a day or so. well now i turn it on and the picture will come up and plays fine for a minute or less, then it will freeze up for about 20 seconds- 1 minute then start playing again. it may play for 30 seconds or 2 or 3 mins.. i have restarted the softcam, unplugged the box for a minute or so and rescanned the sat transponders so far and that had no result. any ideas guys????? should i wipe everything and start over? i know how to do the initial setup now, i wonder if i should delete everything and restart the process??

thanks man, I'll do that when I get off work tonight! I didn't know the cam had a newer version, but thanks to ur advice I'll know to check next time!
