I just got one of the newer 2800A and it already comes with B-80 on it can I just go ahead and download the newest bin or is there anything I have to do to it before I can do that. I was helping my friend out with his but his is the older model. Also the one I had before was a 2700A and all I had to do to it was download the bin and set my sats. and scan them and I was good to go will it be the same with this one or will there be some extra steps that I would have to take.

I would say yes. I am assuming B-80 is the latest Factory Bin.

I dont have a Pansat and am unsure if there is anything else needed besides the latest factory bin and the latest updated bin.

I tried this step and got nothing on the screen my reciever only displays On still no luck with any current bins <_<
