View Full Version : Iso Wave Ps2 Plus joeg 11-29-2002, 05:39 PM I just bought an ISO WAVE PS2 PLUS programer but I need instructions to get it going. Can anyone help? DSSHu 11-30-2002, 09:18 AM does that programmer have the 3.68mhz crystal? Dishnet cards are programmed with 3.68mhz iso programmer. Your cards need to be OPEN rom2 or rom3 and MARRIED to the receiver. If so you can get the box key for the receiver from the card using nagraedit. If card is not married to the receiver, you're gonna need a jtag to read the box key off the receiver. If card is OPEN and Married to ird, Software you'll need: Nagraedit2.0 and romtiermaker6.5 (there may be new versions). Use romtiermaker to create a .ne2 for rom2 card or .ne3 for rom3 card. Then use nagraedit to patch that .neX to your card. Verify cam id, box key, and ird # before writing to card. If your card is anything other than the above status, post exactly what your situation is, for I don't intend to write a comprehensive guide here. Search for Chas1962's guide for newbie. joeg 11-30-2002, 01:33 PM Ok... this is what I found... I have a ISO WAVE PS2 Plus Programmer with a dual crystal. I think it is the 3.68 mhz How can I tell? I have a rom3 card that appears to be closed. I downloaded Nagraedit 2.0, hit "ctrl+r" to read the card, then the following info appeared: Rom Revision: 003 EEPROM Revision:381 Checking for backdoor Backdoor appears to be closed, Aborting. Error readiing image from card I am try to accertain if I have version A or B Rom3 card. I read the entire Chas1962Guide for newbie u suggested. Where do I go from here? Thanks for your help. jg DSSHu 11-30-2002, 02:23 PM rev381 means your rom3 is closed. Only dealers can unlock it for you. (for about 30 bucks). PM me and i'll recommend a great place to have it unlocked. another option is to use an avr3 with your closed card; or an atmega128, but using rom3 plastic is still the preferred choice. Your iso wave should work fine because it's a dual crystals programmer (3.57mhz for Dtv cards in some applications and 3.68mh for Dish cards).
