I was wondering if you guys can please add a nFusion and nFusion HD in its own thread ... instead of it being in the Other FTA Receivers section . nFusion is the most popular unit out here in the FTA World and makes me think as a nFusion user we are not important on this site . Plus adding the new section in the Files area Thanks

:huh::no: As it says in my sig "DSS is in the Air" not on the internet IKS is not testing IMO and will be the next form of piracy to be heavily watched and prosecuted by the providers with all those IP addy's on the IKS server its only a matter of time.

I think that it would be wise of us not to be too heavily involved in anything that involves IKS...just my thoughts on it....

ITS ME you should read more about IKS .. There is no possible way to save or trace ips on the servers it is very safe .. And yes we do testing to it might not be every few weeks or whenever it goes down But we do Chuck hope you will reconsider

Very Safe?..............not sure about that:no:..........there is nothing 100% safe

When you have a cable connecting to Receiver >> Internet Provider >> IKS Server.............. in between the receiver and Internet provider, you might has some kind of switch or poxy server to re-routing you patch...........but when the satellite provider very want to crack down this shit............... you can hide but you can not run............. they can login & collecting all the evident, and you not even know, till they show up at your door with the warrant to search your house.

I can go on and on about this But whatever ... Anyways i know im right

Nothing wrong with having an nFusion section ..But don't believe for one minutes that IKS can't be traced to your front door.

Believe blindscan,matchstick or matchbox if you wish, but they will tell you anything to sell receivers and line their pockets with your cash...Where has f2atv gone? ask dishnet they probably know. Probably in the process of handing over the data base with your IP address.

Where is the full N3 hack that nFusion said they have but are not able to produce?

F2ATV Was a site that made a lot of money. Somebody is losing money every day that F2ATV is down, and you are naive enough to think that it is a hardware problem???

Nobody in this thread is hating on nFusion. We see it as something that is unsafe, and we have a right to voice our opinion on that. Good Luck to you. EB

I sure wish someone would tell me the legal process involved in Dishnet getting my address from my IP. Not gonna happen.

Why don't you just run the IKS box through an Elite Proxy if you are concerned about your IP? Can't be traced granted you will only get the updates at 10kbps but at least you would be 100% safe...

Most proxies do not cover you as well as you think.
During the last Presidential election, an email account belonging to Sarah Palin was hacked by a guy using a proxy. The proxy did not protect his identity and he was caught.

That would require a Wifi bridge (Because most IKS do not have WIFI) and a some one close with wifi.

Doing a proxy would be easy if the machine had proxy settings built in if not then you would eather have to have a router that supported proxys or to run it through a computer with internet sharing and set it up with a proxy that way but hey if you are worried about that kind of thing I guess its worth it.

Who ever "Hacked" the email of Sarah Palin was not an expert by any means... I am not saying I am an expert but still you need to use a proxy that stores little to no info to be safe.

The E mail account of Palins that was hacked was a yahoo account if I remember correct.Hacking a yahoo e mail is beginners hacking.

There is a post out there of someone using wireshark (ethereal) to watch the traffic between his receiver and the nfusion server. Apparently when he tried proxies, his receiver wouldn't update.

At any rate, I don't think it's feasable for Dishnet to get anyones IP using the legal route.

How long has nfusion been around? It seems to me that if charlie could trace your ip address,they would have done so by now.Just my 2 cents.

Maybe they are just gathering lots of information :D
