I loaded bin 195 into my 700s. but when ever i boot it. it will freeze on just the background, which once used to be blue,but now its orange?does anyone have this problem as well?

I have the same problem and now it's not accepting the password when I tried to do installation again, can anyone tell me what to do?

Have you loaded the 1.92 bin which asks for the password?If not you will need to load that one first ...then load the 1.95 and should be OK.

Was just recently moved to the Captiveworks 700s files area

Ijust loaded 1.95 and as soon as re boot box froze just blank green screen and remote wont do anything what can I do? Have tried to load 1.92 as suggested earlier. but can not do anything . have tried completely disconnecting box cable /power but still blank green screen and remote and controls on box do nothing at a loss as what else to try

I Downloaded the 1.95 file but I get a zip is corrupt error when I try to open it

same problem as the first post. how can u download new file (or bin 1.92 or 1.93) when there is no usb menu (or any menu)?? i tried downloading it through the null cable and computer ... but that won't work either. the display just shows 0000 and i can't turn the power off or anything. please throw some light on this. thanks.

I just downloaded the 1.95 again for a test on another computer....the file is not corrupt.It unzips fine to 1345kb.....I installed it again as a test...no problem.

For those having problems.....

Reboot the box with the switch in the back.....as soon as it says "boot" press the Front power button....this will hold it there.
Connect your null modem cable and open the loader program and load any file before 1.92....I chose 1.83.
After the file loads and reboots you should be fine.....USB should work again.....then load the 1.93Serial bin and follow the instructions ( if it asks for the password )....then you can load the 1.95 bin as normal.

Are you both using lap tops to try and load this?

Har23...it will never load until the com ports match....com ports don't match=no communication....device manager..rename the com port you are connected to to the port you select in the loader program.
Hardtolearn...sounds like you have a similar problem...check your port settings.If you say it pauses for 3 seconds and then still sits there..it is still paused waiting for the data to transfer...but if the com ports aren't correct..it will just sit there waiting.It's not the bins...you need to work the computer...not the computer work you.

I'm just new to all this & have no idea what a "null modem cable" is...I'm having the exact same problem...cant seem to get the 1.95 to work. Could someone explain what exactly I should do...as you would a 2 year old! Please!

It is probably located in the "Member Uploads " "FILES" area.....and try asking your question in the CW800s forum instead of the CW700s forum...but it always helps to Look before posting.

I get a grey frozen background. i tried loading the 182 as well as other files with the null,loader and can get up to 70 percent when it stops and goes to error on display again. Any ideas would be appreciated.:no:

as well.

Might try to load the factory bin back on it and see if that clears up that error...or try loading the 1.83 file again...I am trying to find out just what that E010 error is.I don't think the box is that messed up...we just gotta keep trying to get it to take the load.I will keep looking for an answer to the E010.Don't give up.

The file is fine I and others have d/l the file with no problems.
Do you maybe have some anti-virus program running that could be possibly messin it up?
If not maybe try to d/load it again....or PM me your e-mail addy and I will send it to you that way.

I just downloaded the file AGAIN to a different folder and extracted the file...no errors..no problems.
The fault you are getting must be coming from your PC or internet connection/
You can always d/load it from anaother site I guess if you still can't get it.

Thanks NitroDog, i have gotten a little further, it loaded and I saw end. But thats it, I reloaded about 4 times, using the 1.83 and then 1.95. once it loads then end comes up connect back to tv, it's back to the orange screen again. But I will persevere with your help :)

Well Hurray!!! At least one of you guys is making some progress...GLAD to see you finally got it working...

I've been doing some reading elsewhere and what I've been seeing is that the problems come from trying to load the files with the usb to serial devices/cables......What I read was that while the receiver is in the "Boot" mode you HAVE to use a PC with a true 9 pin serial port ( Don't know how true that is but it is what I have read and would explain some of the problems we are having ).I don't use a usb to serial device to load any of my boxes...all my PC's have serial ports so I haven't had those issues.
Also have read we need to load the factory file first...then do a default "All" on the settings......then load the 1.92 file by usb...Inputting the serial #'s as prompted.....then load the 1.95 file via usb.......set up your sats/lnb's etc..and scan for channels.....finally F1 then 000 to enable the patch.

Maybe someone else having issues will read this and it will help...
As far as using usb to serial devices/cables.....I will continue to use my true Serial port on my PC...seems to be the safest way.

no it ain't a clone kiler but it wass said b/4 that you have to install 1.93 for future bins,and does people that did not do that are haveing the problem you are that's all,ah and 1.93 must be installed only by serial port.capich!!!!!!!!!:yes:

I have instaled my system at home just on Saturday Nov-1st and my CW700s was working normaly with 1.95 until Sunday 9:00pm and it has presented to me "this box is a clone". I have downloaded the bin 1.95 again but it remain presenting "this box is a clone". It means that I have to update my CW700s with 1.96? Does anybody has this new update?

I had the same message on Saturday night. Did factory default-1.93-1.95-Rescanned and was up again in a little while. Some have loaded 1.81 or earlier file after fac default then 1.93 and 1.95.

New files are in the file section.
