Hello
Can someone please help me. I installed 8psk the way it shows on youtube but i have the ninja version. I did factory reset after installing. But i dont know what to do with the coax cable that came with the 8psk kit. Where to plug that cable. What I did the coax cable coming from the dish to the receiver, i plugged that one into the new 8psk adopter scanned 8.10 sat and i got HD channels but in order to watch these channels I have to switch the coax to the new adopter 8psk and to watch the rest of the channels i again have to swith to coax cable to socket al the way on the right where its always plugged, before I installed the 8psk adopter. The cable came with 8psk is sitting in the box now I dont know what is its function and where do i have to plug the original coax coming from the dish. I can only scan the HD channels when i plug it to 8psk adopter not the other all international channels and HBO< CINAMAX or rest of them. This is whats happening please help me what to do.

Thanks alot for help.:

Plug the cable coming from the dish into "If Input 1". Now connect "If Output" to "If Input 2" with the 10inch (roughtly) cable that came with the Pansat.

All should be functioning correctly afterwards.

Buddy, it is hooked up right but there are no signals on Hd channels. After installing 8psk ninja what is the first step. can you please briefly explain me a little bit. My settings are as follows:

8 ku Standard, 11250, Off, Diseqc 1.0#2, None, Usuals, DVB-S/Qspk/Off,
(1) 12225 V 20.000

7 KU Stand, 11250, Off Disq 1.0# 3 None, Disable, DVD-S/Qspk/Off (1) 12225 V 20.000, All

3 KU Stand, 11250, Off, Disq1.0#1, None, Usuals, DVD-S/Qpsk/Off, (1) 12326 H 20.000.
I guess this will help you understand that what am I doing wrong here.

I scanned Hd channels through the new port of 8psk and I got the channels but I have to switch the coax over and over again to watch channels.

Thanks

From the sounds of it its a connection issue.

Plug the coax from the lnb into Input 1 (as is normal), then connect the 8psk with the If Output (just under the normal input). You had said that this is the way it is hooked up, if so, then try another coax as the current one may not work properly or have a cut etc.

Also, have you updated your tps in order to receive all hd channels? As i see only sd tps listed.

If all fails, I would recon your if output coax connector is not functioning.
