HELP PLEASE!!! kenmoresp 09-29-2008, 04:41 AM Which port did you try to use? Do this...press menu>utilities>usb>configuration....be sure that your receiver is set to use the port you are trying to load the file with...then press exit and select yes when it asks if you want to save it....then see if you can get it to recognize the usb stick infoisus 09-29-2008, 12:18 PM Ill try that. Thanks Kenmo! infoisus 09-29-2008, 12:50 PM It shows the files on the stick. Fac file, Recent norw and next to that wmpinfo. (Dont know what that file is, came on whith the with the fac. file). When I plug into the box, nothing happens. I guess their unzipped. Shows the Winzip logo with the file name underneath. Does anyone have a piece of rope? I have a good use for it! HA! Thanks! kenmoresp 09-29-2008, 02:09 PM You may need to reformat the usb stick to remove the wmpinfo file...it may prevent the receiver from being able to use the stick....and you have to unzip the files before you put them on the stick infoisus 10-11-2008, 04:16 PM ;)Thank you very much for the tips. It's up and running now, but Im getting only 1 sat. I believe 119 but I get a signal from both lnbs. Whats weird is it is showing dtv 100.9 but I know It's dish. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!! kenmoresp 10-13-2008, 08:00 AM Are you sure it is looking at the echo satellite? when I set mine up I had the same problem and had to do a little more adjusting to my dish....I was almost postive I had it aimed correctly, but alas, I was wrong... If you have a D500, and have 110 working correctly, you may just need to skew it around the other direction for 119....this is what I had done...DTV 101 is 9 degrees from 110, the same as 119 is 9 degrees from 110...and when I was skewing my dish I simply went the wrong direction....all I did was go the other direction with it and bam....there it was... |
