i've been reading thru the megasat threads and wanted to know which way to go to see if i can puff or pansat this unit. i went into system info and i get x-85bl API:60 a_EV boot ver 6.0 25 nov 2005 future fta. is there any hope is this a 2700 clone?? wanted to ask before i started messing with it. thanks in advance.

I just sold my last used megasat yt6688 on scambay for very little $. It works good on both Puff or B75 bin files.
To Puff: use tronics bin mod 1.2v
1. check "load boot"
2. check Puff
3. turn receiver on at back button
4. hit load boot on tronics asap.
5. done, reboot, now is puff

To load the latest 448KB file, I use another loader that works good , tried many times to upload loader file to this site to share but kept getting error mesages. Don't use API file.
Give me some points if you appreciate my time and effort!

hello this is thundervolt I'm new to trying to do fta files myself I have always had a friend do them for me. And she found that what ever works for the pansat 2500a works just as well for the yt6688. When I bought the yt6688 direct from the factory I was told that it is an exzact copy of the 2500a. I have both and I like the yt6688 better because of it's speed and picture resulation.

I have a Question about a Megesat 4000 Pro Receiver ? I know it's a clone, My freind wants me to load a file but I'm not sure what's working or not for this receiver. or should he just buy a new one ??

i have megasant comnache.. so how do i coven to other file... like coolsat.. pansat.... and do any know how to set up.. or loading file ..... please give me help.. cuase i just bough it for comple month ago.. but i can't make it work... so please help.. i don't want to west my money for nothing...
