can some one point me in the right direction on how to add some pay per view channels to my arm? thanks

you will need to use MrTierworks or similar. Look in the info screen in the guide of the PPV channels you will see a Hex # at the bottom. write these down from lowest to highest. Open up the calculator under accessories in windows. Choose scientific mode. enter the hex # (A5311) make sure HEX is checked. once # is entered hit DEC, it will convert the hex to DEC. Once you have done this for the range of hex #'s (from the guide) find the lowest and highest. enter the lowest for low PPV id. Find the highest, add 100-150 to that # so you have some room for future weeks. Tireworks does pretty much everything else. It will create a patch file or give you the option to add the patch to your bin. Once the bin is patched, write the new bin through armedit.

under Dec event price is 3.99 is that maybe why I can't get any PPV that costs more than that?

you will have to get that from the receiver itself. If you are getting other channels just open the guide and go to 502-530. Use the remote and pull up the info for the PPV channels. I've noticed some of the channels don't have the Hex # in there, no biggie, most do. find the range you are in, make the low a little lower than the lowest you have and the highest a little higher than you have.
You can raise the PPV amount a little if you want, but you are better to add another PPV tier for events

Their are only 2 channels I am trying to get up and running and they are 492 & 493
( no wise cracks LOL) as get all the other PPV. thought I would try to add them as a way of learning how to program

you may have an outdated tierworks. Those channels should come in through the basic tiers when you select those particular "type" (Hee Hee) of premium channel. I'm not at the sat computer so I can't open anything to see if I can confirm.

I should have clarified a little better I do get these channels but I have to purchase them

farmer13 I since you are using a arm you don't have to weary about a ECM just widen your PPV string set your low to 0000001 then your high to 0999999 that should get all the PPV channels for you.

i just select open all ppv events and all ppv movies and all adult channels and this works for me

can I use rom explorer for this or which program do you use
