Hey all. I have a DM 500s and have not used it in about 2 years. The site I used to use was great (pride3m). This site looks pretty thorough too, but I'm having a little trouble finding my way around and don't want to mess up the files. You know how finicky these things can be.
I still have some of the how to files for setting it up but I'm really rusty and am concerned about mixing and matching different fixes.
Is there a thread here or something to help one start from scratch again with all the files?
Is the dreambox even up and running today?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, after hours of surfing and reading I think I am back up to speed on how to format this thing and I think I have the necessary files.
Just a couple questions if someone could confirm for me that would be great. I don't have my dish mounted yet to test it myself.
So if I flash with the latest image file by nitro "1141223572-dm500_nitro", and then load the emu: "open cam release 2.0.18", I should be good to go correct? After I load a channel list or scan of course.
No other files needed? And are the PPV coming in okay?

You will need to use rqcam. Opencam is not officially updated.

I find DMS works very well. Opencam is no more, sadly. Rqcamd 0.83 is the one you want. Good luck.

Hey guys. Thanks for the help. I'm all set up and ftp'd the rqcam over and changed the attributes to 755 from 644. I have a good strong signal, the only trouble I seem to have is not being able to activate the emu. I have no "my panel" option listed anywhere in my set up. And just hitting the green button doesn't take me there. I'm wondering if I flashed the correct image now. Any thoughts?
