Does anyone have a working file for the 7100 yet? The one in the files section seems to be for a 7000 although the zip file says CS7100. When I un-zip it, it says C7_NORW_V167_20080711. I put it in the receiver and it tells me to check my model. Anyone? Thanks, MAS for the attempt, but its not working for me.

Got a file from another site and its working fine. Had to load the file with the LNB cable disconnected, but I'm back in business. Good luck to the rest.

Thats the file I used. Just had to disconnect the LNB cable, or else it would get stuck on "downloading" and never finish. Up and running now. Thanks, Lew.

I D/L the file that was here and it looked like 7000 so I got another file from the release site and posted it for backup and that is the one I linked to you, just so you know and other will know too
I up loaded them early this morning, had anyone noticed that the new released name kinda different than previous. I had reload it again now, may be I should did the same as 7000 too.
I just rename the file.
Name file name C7100v.1.67.00 BUY 20080711 and I rename C7v.1.67.00 20080711
Older name
C7100_NORW_V166_20080709
C7100_NORW_V165_20080703

Hey guys ! I thought I messed up this 7100 also ! weeeheeeee.... I lost picture on free channels, couldnt do a factory reset. tried the switch box off on back, unhook lnb line, turn back on, load new bin..(the one that says buy in it) switch back off, hook back up lnb line, switch back on.... Works great ! Just a FYI for all 7100 users !

NORW has been the group of coders responsible for putting out these wonderful fixes for us. I just wonder if there is now another group? The BUY file looked strange to me too, but once I got it loaded, I have channels back with only a few problems. This fix is NOT for Bev. In fact, yesterday when I switched to a Bev channel, I got scrambled channels and switching back to a DN channels gave me the same. I had to do a hard re-boot and quickly get it on a DN channel (200) before I could get them back. I've just been staying away from the Bev channels since it takes out the DN channels and freezes the receiver.
