I am confused how to apply this fix... this is all they say in read file..can someone help me out and explain what need to be done and where to change IRD# etc. since nothing marked on this script. Below is explanation from file itself...Ty much for help:)



Rom2 Fix with PPV!! OCt 2,2002

Here is the latest rom2 fix with PPV.

Open zip and load dishnet10-2.ne2 onto your card using Xcel 3.0 or NE 2.0.
dishnet10-2.ne2 includes blocker as well.Reapply your IRD# Box key and Cam id# after writing this ne2 file as it will overwrite the previous info.
This fix is not to be used with cards marked E007=FF nor with Rom3,Rom10 or 11 cards.ROM2 ONLY!!!
You can manually add other tiers of your choice using the program of your choice.

You need to run nagraedit or xcel which ever one you use...


Have a dump of the card, then patch this ne2 file(plus any others you want, change settings, box keys ect) to the dump then write the dump back to the card......


there are many posts and or resources on using freetalk or excel or nagra edit...Most are step by step....
