ok, i've gotten good at hackin' DTV thanx to this site. I know have my hands on some dish hardware and would like to know if my T911 can be used with dish cards and software ? I tried it once but it didn't seem to work. I looked on this site a bit and didn't really find an answer. If the T911 can be used, what if any flash will I need and will I need to change the dips. thanx.

i do believe a 911 will work w/ dish as long as you use echoloader s/w.i have loaded a rom 3 w/ my kac just having problems w/ the ird.

so i need to look for "echoloader" software and try it out. did you have to change any dips or anything else in the s/w ?

ok... i found echoloader. When I use echoprog.exe or ebox112233.exe, it actually tries to read the card (light on T911 is red) and I get an ATR, but then it says "Sorry, can't retrieve card information.... Please remove the card"

The card is a 288-01 (ROM2). It came out of an ISD2200.

you can try what you like do it at your own risk, but what youre atempting to do will loop your card if youre not sure about what youre doing, do you know if the card is locked whats the rev number, echloader is a very unstable program, iso's are cheap i would advise to get one...

I'm not to concerned about this card or the ird because it's an old one of a friends that was just layin around. he has seen what can be done with DTV, now we became interested in dish since that is what he has. so as far as the card gettin looped and stuff, it doesnt matter because it doesnt work in the old box anyway. i was just curious to see if i could do anything with it with the tools i have now.
