Hi,
I'm pretty new at this, but I think I got most of the way using posts on this site (props!!) I have a Captiveworks 700s and have it correctly pointed at echostar 7. I can tell because I have a quality strength of 70% and the channels are downloaded when I scan.
I just tried to use the latest bin, but i'm getting a "scrambled data" error  . Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Did you press F1 on the remote followed by 000 to enable the patch.

If a mod sees this could you please move to Captiveworks discussion.

Thanks for reply. Did that, rebooted the system, but still no luck. It is still telling me that the channels are scrambled. Any other suggestions?

It may take a few minutes for the keys to roll..did you load CW700SV1.55_2008_03_12.

70% is also not good..your going to want to get it up in the 80"s at least..otherwise you will lose signal everytime you have poor weather.

Thats what I thought..like i said, I would tweak your dish when you can a chance and get that quality higher.
