The latest bin I've been able to find is from 02/07/08. It went out the next day and as usual there is no support for this box!

Man! I ve just about had it with this box. First of all it wwas expensive! Then when I got it I was trully disapointed for reasons I won;t even go into!
Then came to learn that support for boxes that are the fourth its price is much better than this one!

Yes, me too. This will really get you. I went to the Coolsat USA website yesterday. At the "contact us" area I emailed them asking if there was a better place to download the bins, if there was a way of opening up the files and possibly adapting one of the lower end Coolsat bins, if they saw an improvement of support in the future, or if I should buy a new box? They responded very candidly today and recommended I get an NFusion, or Viewsat! That really makes me feel good after reading their advertisements for the CS8100HD Micro PVR and the price I paid for what they claimed was the BEST of the BEST! But I think I am going to take the most recent advice!

:grr: to Coolsat!

Thanks for the feedback on CS. I'm looking for a HD FTA and I will look elsewhere!

This is a good forum, no one has the files for the CS8100 yet.

I agree...wasn't knocking the forum...I'm indebted to it. I meant that I will keep looking for a different HD rcvr. Any recommendations?

The recommendations I've been getting and from what I've seen, Viewsat and Nfusion seem to be at the top of the list with Sonicview close behind. I contacted Coolsat USA through their website and received this recommendation from them as well!

I don't have any complaints about the box itself, it's just that no one seems to be working on the codes for this model, probably because it's new, expensive and not so many of them out there. Hopefully in time there will be more suckers like us purchasing the boxes and the support will pick up a bit.

If anyone thinks their Collsat 8100 is a piece of junk just contact me and I will gladly give you a hundred bucks for it. (Providing it still works as it came from the factory) :D
