Hey all, have another random noob question.

I'm sure there is a fix on here but can't seem to locate it as it's telling me server is busy and I didn't see it in the forms or search.

Using bin 1.36 and it's working amazing however when i'm looking for programs that are upcomming it only allows me to see what's coming on a 1/2 hr in advance if that, just stays blank.
I have reset the receiver and what not, tried to get it from the EPG of the provider and it just says -may take 3 min's max. That finishes and does not give me any new program info. Oddly enough all my signals are sitting atleast 92% or higher.

Just wondering if its me being silly or if there was an actuall issue with this not showing upcomming shows.

Thanks in advance as I know someone in here will figure it out since ya'll are da pros :D

So I gave it a shot today like you said Mrgmc by putting it in standby for a while but it still made no differnce, some random channels will give me up to 1 1/2 hrs of programs in advance, but others will only show what's playing currently.
I left it in standby for roughly an hour just to make sure it had enough time, but still the same.

Cheers

Expanded EPG (Electronic Program Guide): Since the release of the first modified bins, we have seen tremendous progress made in making the EPG for Coolsats better. As of now, EPG is functional and will show up to 24 hours in advance after seeing some bin versions that even went up to 3 days which was dropped due to resource demand on the receiver. To enable this feature and have it perform at its best, it is necessary to do a factory reset after loading the bin to enable the option as well as other options. The EPG software is highly dependent upon the default channel list that is loaded in the bin software for recognition characteristics to allow the EPG to work. The default channel list contains only Satellite and Transponder data with no channel data and supports the EPG recognition and Scan ability of the receiver. If you choose to use a custom channel list, you must make sure the satellite names are the same as used in the default list for EPG to work correct. It is also recommended to place Dish SID Channel 100 in a favorites folder to enable the EPG to work faster. Tuning to this channel for a few minutes will also enable the EPG list to populate faster. Some Dish satellites, such as 105W, have an EPG Channel with too high a SID number to be entered
15
into the channel data and this EPG will be slower but the EPG will populate when tuned to a channel on 105.
Signal Strength Tone: This feature now has been expanded to work in Dish Setting. - -------All the above was taken from the Manual ,I not sure if this will help but it is worth a read.

Did you figure out why you're EPG is not working yet? I would like to know the answer as well?

Ruud, Thanks for the info. I'm giving that a shot as we speak, some are coming up with about 2 -3 hrs of programing, but i'll have to wait to see what happens from here as my dish is down right now.

I appreciate the help.
